In order to create a standard technology for retail product security, we worked with a young technology firm to design a universal standard technology to meet the packaging and identification needs of the consumer products industry. We then designed, developed and implemented an alliance of major consumer products manufacturers to develop the technology and established a not-for-profit organization to support and maintain the standard.

In an effort to dramatically improve a client’s return on capital employed (ROCE), we conducted a series of customer, employee and stakeholder assessments, as well as an operational excellence audit, based on the Baldrige Criteria. Once we identified and prioritized the vital few barriers to success, we created a number of cross-functional teams to eliminate them using our proprietary problem solving method. As a result of several team initiatives, our client simplified its essential processes and was able to accelerate profit growth while revenues doubled in a two-year period.
